Booking & Availability

How do I book with Floss & Pop Hire?

You can enquire via our website, WhatsApp, or contact form. Once availability is confirmed, we’ll send you booking details and request a deposit to secure your date.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays, and peak event periods. Last-minute bookings may be possible subject to availability.

Is my booking confirmed once I pay the deposit?

Yes. Your date and services are secured once the deposit has been received and confirmed.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to make changes, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate where availability allows.

On the Day of Your Event

Does the hire time include setup and pack-down?

No. We arrive early to set up so everything is ready before your hire begins, and we pack down after the hire period ends. You receive the full service time you booked.

Who operates the equipment?

All equipment is operated by our trained team unless a dry-hire option has been agreed in advance.

Can you set up outdoors?

Yes, outdoor setups are possible provided weather conditions are safe and suitable. If conditions are unsuitable, we will discuss alternative arrangements with you.

What do you need from the venue?

We usually require:

  • Access to a standard power socket

  • Suitable space for the equipment booked

  • Clear access for delivery and setup

  • Nearby parking where possible

Exact requirements will be confirmed during booking.

Equipment, Safety & Compliance

Are you insured?

Yes. We hold public liability insurance and can provide documentation on request.

Is your equipment PAT tested?

Yes. All electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested and maintained to UK safety standards.

Do you provide risk assessments?

Yes. Risk assessments and method statements can be supplied to venues that require them.

Do your staff hold food hygiene certificates?

Yes. Our team members are trained in food safety and hygiene.

Are your staff DBS checked?

Yes. DBS-checked staff can be provided where required, particularly for school and community events.

What is included in your packages?

Can packages be customised?

Yes. We regularly tailor packages to suit guest numbers, event themes, timings, and budgets.

Do you offer branded products?

Yes. We provide branded popcorn cups, candy floss tubs, sweet bags, and other personalised options for corporate and private events.

What notice is required for branded items?

We usually require 5–7 days’ notice. Express options may be available depending on availability and artwork readiness.

Our 360 booth hire includes setup, lighting, attendants, and digital sharing options depending on the package selected.

How much space does the 360 booth require?

A clear area is required for safe operation. Space requirements will be confirmed during the booking process.

Can the 360 booth be branded?

Yes. Branding options are available for corporate events and brand activations with sufficient notice.

Can you provide allergen information?
